Monday August 21, 2017. Approximately 8:30 pm , a 47 year old barryton man was hauling a load of cattle when it suddenly went sailing into the ditch. Police believe that alcohol and pickled bologna were both believed to be factors. 47 year old Lenny Fred Jr was driving his Dodge with the tow mirrors flipped out when he spilled his pickled bologna all over his floor. He suddenly reached to save the pickled bologna when he then spilled his beer and crashed his load of cattle down into a ditch. There were no reported injuries. But his light bar did get broken. The crash remains under investigation.
