Santa Elena Man wanted by police for questioning

On August 21st, there was a reported armed robbery that resulted in the injury of a local resident of Santa Elena town.
The victim’s identity has been kept anonymous from the press. It is reported that around 7 pm a hispanic male individual, believed to be a local resident by the name of Carlos Zelaya, approached the victim and robbed him of $250 cash and a cellphone. In an attempt to cover up the act done, Zelaya inflicted a stab wound on the victim in the neck. Zelaya then fled the scene of the crime on a redish motorcycle. The victim was rushed to the local hospital for treatment.
If anyone can provide the police with information to lead to Zelaya’s whereabouts, they are asked to contact the nearest police department.
