Winterport man Tyler Downs beat 17 year old Alex Guerrette of Newburgh Village with a toque wrench late Tuesday night. As they were working on Alex’s race car Mr.Downs disagreed with Alex on how much toque was needed for the lug nuts. So when Alex’s back was turned Mr. Downs hit him with toque wrench knocking Alex out cold. Then Mr. Downs left the scene and went home. Police say he will be charged with assault and will serve 2 years in prison.
