Local Mint Hill resident Wil Loesel left his home this morning with the intention of picking his 7-year-old child up from school, which is 11 mi urea from their home.
Several hours later – he still hadn’t arrived.
The reason for the delay was the opening of the new roundabout at the interception of NC 51 and Idlewild Rd., which had opened earlier that morning.
